I hope everyone made it through Thanksgiving in good order. Thanksgiving has been a special holiday in my family as long as I can remember.
Last month’s article dealt mostly with questions regarding payment of dues.
On Oct. 23, the Stanton Volunteer Fire Department responded to a grass fire that was started after a tree branch broke due to windy conditions, and knocked down several power lines.
I‘m back! I first want to thank the members that attended the Annual Conference in Kearney and voted for me as your Secretary Treasurer even though I was unable to attend.
I want to say a big THANK YOU for all the words of encouragement and ask for your continued support as I start my journey as your President.
Yankton County saw numerous roll over calls in a two week period resulting in minor to life threatening injuries.
As I promised last month, if you even read my article last month, you should have your departments 2018 dues notice by now.
