     The fire service has seen many improvements in safety. One of these improvements I would like to discuss this month is the remote-control nozzle.

   Greetings everyone. Last Friday (on my 43^rd birthday, May 7^th, 2021) I received some news that I thought I should share with all of you.

On April 29, the Bennet Volunteer Fire Department held a live fire training night for some of its firefighters, including three new members.

     Black Hawk Volunteer Fire Department responded to a reported wildland fire in the 7000 block of Marvel Mt Ridge Rd, Unincorporated Meade County, Black Hawk, SD, on Apr.

     Fire school is here, right now, in River City. If you are reading this month’s paper fire school will be in a couple of days.

     Graduations are over. School is out. But summer events are in full swing.
